The goal of Compass Connections is to help each child find their true north. Our goal is to ensure each child’s safety and well-being are paramount, with a focus on permanency – ensuring all children are safely placed with their forever family.
Compass Connections prepares children aging out from state and federal conservatorship by providing the tools necessary for a successful transition into the community as they turn 18 years of age.
Compass Connections takes pride in providing a safe environment where children feel supported and protected.
Compass Connections offers tools to help young people prepare for adulthood, including volunteering opportunities, developing individual learning plans, recreational activities and other supplemental resources.
Youth in our care receive educational services beyond the classroom, including English as a Second Language instruction. Youth are also taught the importance of experiential life skills and participate in courses and activities related to preparation for adult living. Additionally, youth participate in programs aimed at improving self-esteem and their ability to make responsible decisions. Compass Connections help youth prepare for the challenges of adulthood and independence.
